Buddy Guy’s Legends: 20 Years In The Making
The new location of Buddy Guy’s Legends has finally reopened its doors on the streets of Chicago, IL. Come celebrate the month long grand opening extravaganza during June 2010, with this week’s events kicking off Blues Fest!
It all started in 1999, when the building that had been the club’s home for 10 years prior was anonymously donated to Columbia College. It has taken the following 20 years to search for a new location. Buddy Guy was approached with the opportunity to purchase the building at 700 S. Wabash Ave and he is now the sole owner and proprietor of the venture. (Read More…)
